Sweet Celebration Wontons


  • 1/2 cup Sun-Maid Natural Raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 dozen wonton wrappers
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • powdered sugar

  • Directions:

    COMBINE raisins, peanuts, coconut and cinnamon. Stir in honey to mix well.
    PLACE about 1 tablespoon raisin mixture in center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water; fold in half diagonally over filling to form a triangle. Press firmly to seal edges, easing out any air pockets.
    DEEP FRY in 350° F oil, a few at a time, until golden and crisp on both sides, about 1 to 2 minutes.
    COOL on paper toweling. Dust lightly with powdered sugar.

    Makes 2 dozen.
