Raisin-Cranberry Compote

Make this versatile fruit sauce to complement meats or desserts.


  • 1-1/2 cups (6-ounces) fresh or frozen unsweetened cranberries
  • 3/4 cup Sun-Maid Jumbo Raisins
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup granulated sugar (depending on preference for sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger, lemon or orange zest
  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • Directions:

    In a medium saucepan, COMBINE cranberries, raisins, sugar and choice of ginger, lemon or orange, or combination.
