Harvest Chutney

A classy complement to poultry, pork and lamb.

Ingredients

1/3 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup Sun-Maid Natural Raisins
1 cup chopped tart apple
3/4 cup apple juice
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup cider vinegar
2 teaspoons grated ginger root
1 cinnamon stick

Directions:


In saucepan, SAUTE onion in oil.
STIR in remaining ingredients.
BRING to a boil, cover and reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
REFRIGERATE until chilled.

Makes about 2 cups.
