Fruited Rice Pilaf


  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 1 cup Sun-Maid Natural Raisins
  • 14-1/2-ounce can chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • Directions:

    In medium saucepan, SAUTE onion and garlic in butter.
    STIR in rice, raisins, chicken broth and basil.
    BRING to a boil, cover and reduce heat; simmer 20 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.

    Makes 4 servings.
