 A tempting treat for after school snacks.
Ingredients
1 14-ounce package pumpkin bread mix
2 eggs
1 cup water
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup Sun-Maid Zante Currants
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnut pieces (or your favorite nut, chopped)
Directions: PREHEAT oven to 375 F. Spray bottom of 8x4-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. MIX bread mix, eggs, water, oil, currants, chocolate chips and walnuts in large bowl. BEAT with a wooden spoon until mix is moistened. Spoon batter into prepared pan. BAKE for 50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center of loaf comes out clean. COOL 10 minutes; then carefully turn bread out of pan and cool completely on cooling rack. Serve slices plain or spread with cream cheese.
Makes 1 loaf.
