Preparation time: 10 minutes Baking time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
1 small apple
4 tablespoons sugar divided
1 tablespoon butter
3 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Dash salt
1/3 cup Sun-Maid Natural Raisins
Powdered sugar
Directions:HEAT oven to 425 F. CUT unpeeled apple into thin slices. Chop slices into small pieces. There should be about 1 cup of apples. PUT apples, 2 tabelspoons sugar, and butter in a 10-inch wide oven-proof skillet or deep
pie dish. (If the skillet has a plastic handle, wrap it with aluminum foil.) BAKE for 12 minutes until apples are soft and mixture is bubbly. Hold pan
with mitts to remove from oven. WHILE apples are baking, beat eggs, milk, flour, remaining 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt in a medium
bowl, using a whisk or egg beater until frothy and smooth. STIR raisins into apples in hot pan. Pour egg mixture into pan. Hold pan
with mitts and place in oven. Bake for 12 to14 minutes until puffed and golden
brown. Check after 8 minutes to watch the puff rise! SLIDE a spatula around edges of pan to loosen puff. Place the top side of a
dinner plate over the pan and turn puff out onto the plate. Cut into wedges and
serve bottom side up. SPRINKLE with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
