- 1 3/4 cups water (divided)
- 3/4 cup Sun-Maid Natural Raisins
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 3 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tbsps. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsps. frozen orange juice concentrate
- 2 Tbsps. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsps. tomato paste
In 2-quart saucepan, combine ¾ cup of the water, raisins, onion, and garlic. Bring to a boil over med-hi heat. Reduce heat; simmer until raisins are plumped (5 mins.)
In blender container, place raisin mixture and ½ cup of the remaining water. Cover and blend until smooth (1 min.)
In same saucepan, combine raisin mixture, ½ cup water, and all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce and simmer until reduced and thickened (25-30 mins.) Stir occasionally, stirring more frequently near end of cooking time. Cool then store in refrigerator.
