 Spicy Tandoori chicken or lamb kabobs are a perfect complement for this sweet and savory rice.
Ingredients
3/4 cup basmati rice
1/4 cup sliced almonds
2 teaspoons curry powder
1 medium Granny Smith apple, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup Sun-Maid Natural Raisins
1/4 cup sliced green onion
Directions: COOK rice according to package directions omitting oil and salt. HEAT a heavy skillet or saucepan over medium heat. TOAST almonds shaking pan frequently until almonds are light golden brown.
