- 3 eggs
- 2/3 cup (150 mL) milk
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) minced chives
- 1 tsp (5 mL) dry mustard powder
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt and pepper
- 8 slices Sun-Maid Raisin Bread
- 8 slices roasted turkey
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) cranberry sauce
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter
WHISK together eggs, milk, chives, mustard salt and pepper in a shallow dish.
DIVIDE turkey over 4 slices of the Sun-MaidÂ® Raisin bread and top with Cheddar cheese. Spread cranberry sauce over remaining slices of bread and press together cranberry side down to make sandwiches. Dip each sandwich in egg mixture to coat well.
PLACE on a greased rimmed baking sheet; pouring any remaining egg mixture over each sandwich.
BAKE in a 375° F (190C) oven, turning once, for about 25 minutes or until golden. (Or in a buttered non-stick skillet, cook in batches until golden, about 6 minutes per side.)
