- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup Sun-Maid Natural Raisins
- 1/4 cup apple jelly*
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons milk
oven to 350° F.
an 8-inch square pan.
oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and baking soda; blend well.
in butter; mix well.
1 cup crumb mixture for topping.
remaining crumb mixture into greased pan.
raisins and jelly; stir in reserved crumb mixture.
over crumb layer in pan.
in center of oven for 30 minutes or until edges are just golden.
While warm, CUT
into squares; cool in pan.
all icing ingredients; blend well.
Makes 16 bars.
*Apricot jam or orange marmalade may be substituted for apple jelly.
