 Ingredients
1 package (8 oz.) Sun-Maid Pitted Dates
18 walnut halves
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon canola oil
Directions: SLICE each date lengthwise down one side. Cut walnut halves lengthwise into quarters. INSERT a walnut piece into each date and press date gently around nut. HEAT chocolate and oil in a small microwave-safe dish on medium power, 1 to 2 minutes until melted. Stir. DIP each stuffed date about half way into melted chocolate. Place on a wire rack until set. Store in airtight container up to 2 days.
Makes about 30 dates.
