- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup Sun-Maid Natural Raisins
- orange zest of 1/2 orange
- ground cinnamon
2 cups water and cinnamon stick to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add rice. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 to 18 minutes until rice is cooked.STIR
in butter. Discard cinnamon stick.HEAT
milk and condensed milk in a separate pan or microwave just until warm; add to rice. Simmer on medium heat about 10 minutes, stirring often until rice is very soft and milk is the consisency of heavy cream. Remove from heat.STIR
in raisins and orange zest. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes for pudding to thicken to desired consistency.SERVE
warm sprinkled with cinnamon.
