Little Simon of Simon and Schuster Childrens Publishing Division publishes Sun-Maid Raisins Play Book.

1996



Reflecting a shift in lifestyle priorities and attitudes, this Sun-Maid booklet promotes not only recipes, but offers tips on getting the most out of springtime, and how to eat and exercise more effectively.

1995



In 1995 an important patent was issued that led to a new product called Sun-Maid Baking Raisins. Processed in a totally new way to retain natural grape sugars, these premoistened raisins stay tender during baking.

1992



Fresno State University marketing students build and fill the Worlds Largest Raisin Box, earning a spot in The Guinness Book of Records. The 12-foot high box is later installed at Sun-Maid headquarters in Kingsburg.

1990



Aimed at a younger audience, this booklet features a simplified cartoon showing how raisins are made, and offers recipes that can be followed and enjoyed by both children and adults.
